Methodology
Useful data only works when people can understand its limits.
Delhi Startup Map uses publicly available information to create a practical view of the startup ecosystem across Delhi NCR.
Inclusion rule
Physical NCR presence is required.
A company is included only when there is evidence of a working office in Delhi NCR. A registered address, a consultant address, or a founder's home city alone is not enough.
The pilot covers startups with offices in Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad. The map is not yet a complete census of the ecosystem.
Location precision
Precise office pin
A solid-border logo marker means a public source provided a street address. It is geocoded to that office location.
Area-level location
A dashed-border logo marker means only the neighbourhood or city-level office location could be confirmed. It should be treated as approximate.
How profiles are checked
- Company websites, contact pages, official LinkedIn pages, and credible public reporting are used to verify a local office.
- Every record retains a public source URL for the location evidence.
- Company name, website, sector, stage, and founders are added only when a reliable public source is available.
- The dataset is run through automated checks for duplicates, missing required fields, taxonomy mismatches, invalid links, and map-boundary errors before publishing.
A map point is not a claim of legal status, investment quality, or business performance. Startup information changes quickly; this beta will be updated as new evidence becomes available.
